Hello there!

My name is Bethany Stone and I am the owner of The Painted Owl. I am a mom to three rambunctious boys and a wife to the most caring and supportive guy! I have ALWAYS loved painting and making “art and craft” projects! so it only seems natural for me to make and sell on Etsy, sell at craft shows and to go out and about for paint parties!

In Jan. of 2016 I decided to take the plunge and open an painting studio in Grass Lake. I started off small hosting workshops once or twice a week. Then as things stared rolling I found myself hosting workshops at my studio four times a week along with birthday parties on the weekends.

In 2020 Covid hit and as you can imagine it was hard staying open for events. So, I decided it was time for me to close the studio.

Since then I bought a laser machine and opened an Etsy shop. I have been very busy working on personalized orders everyday and making things for craft shows. I am truly enjoying it!

Now that it’s 2025 I think I might get back into some paint parties! I miss painting with everyone and I can’t wait to see what this year brings me!
